Flight log

  1. Take-off2014–2018

    Nantes France

B.Sc. Electronics Engineering · Nantes Université

Four years of electronics engineering. The first island, and the pad this flight takes off from.

    • Electronics
    • 2014–2018
  2. Leg 12018–2019275 km from Nantes

    Bordeaux France

    Embedded Software Engineer · Hiventive

Built a SystemC/TLM virtual prototype of an STM32 microcontroller, with QEMU integration. Lesson kept: treat time, memory and bandwidth as a budget, and test against a model of the hardware first.

    • TIM · I2C · CAN · GPIO · USART
    • M.Sc. Computer Eng. & Aeronautics · Ynov Bordeaux
  3. Leg 22019822 km from Bordeaux

    Coimbra Portugal

    Robotics Assistant · Ingeniarius

Built full autonomy stacks from scratch, with ROS and embedded systems. Won both maze-solving competitions: the mapped one and the unmapped one.

    • ROS
    • Embedded systems
    • 2 of 2 mazes won
  4. Leg 32019–2021954 km from Coimbra

    Nantes, again France

M.Sc. Control & Robotics, then Robotics Researcher · Ecole Centrale de Nantes

Led 4 research projects: multi-agent pathfinding, AI planning (PDDL), real-time ROS control on Xenomai/XDDP, and ROS 2 latency benchmarking. In parallel, remote for Hiventive: backend services in Go.

  5. Leg 42021–20221,229 km from Nantes

    Odense Denmark

Founding Robotics Engineer · Coalescent Mobile Robotics

Founding team that delivered the first working in-store robot, in a supermarket. Led navigation, then, after the CTO left, trolley detection, planning and training interns and a junior engineer. A real store changes your priorities fast.

    • Path planning
    • Localization
    • Leading teams since 2021
  6. Leg 52022–20244,953 km from Odense

    Abu Dhabi UAE

Senior Engineer, Robotics Software · Technology Innovation Institute

Led R&D for multi-robot orchestration and control, and designed new swarm behaviours, including decentralized bird-inspired flocking. Live demos to partners led to USD 3M in contracts.

  7. Leg 62024–2026Same city, new role

    Abu Dhabi UAE

Team Lead, Robotics Software · TII

Grew and led a team of 9 engineers, overhauled the swarm autonomy architecture and worked with Caltech on M4, their flying and rolling robot. Demos in Europe and the UAE led to USD 10M+ in contracts.

  8. LandingFeb 2026 – now

    SIRB.AI Abu Dhabi

Head of Robotics · founding team

Designed the robotics architecture and a self-healing autonomy layer, with agents that detect and recover from failures across the swarm. Took it from prototype to public launch at UMEX 2026, as the Middle East's first AI-powered swarm platform.

    • UMEX 2026 launch

Hangar

Things I build

Eight projects, each with a short clip. Every change goes draft → AI review → checks → quiz → human review → ship, whoever or whatever wrote it. grip is that quiz, as a hook.

Bay 01

grip

A git hook that quizzes you on your own diff before you commit or push, grades the answers against a hidden rubric, and blocks anything below the pass mark.

Bay 02

flybots

Multirotor, fixed-wing and VTOL flight physics from scratch: 40+ runnable simulations and an RL gym.

Bay 03

PyMAPF

Multi-agent pathfinding on arbitrary graphs: CBS, PIBT, LaCAM, MAPF-LNS and multi-agent RL. The solvers stream their search live.

Bay 04

Kymatics Unchained Labs

Graph-based agent orchestration: a spoken intent becomes a queue of build jobs, run by local-first agents.

Bay 05

rostree

Explores a ROS 2 dependency graph (a DAG, not a tree) from the CLI, a TUI, or a self-contained HTML file.

Bay 06

PythonPDDL

A dependency-free PDDL framework: hand-written parser and grounder, 14 planners, LM-cut and FF heuristics, and heuristics you can train.

Bay 07

roue

An offline file converter for the Linux desktop: Ctrl+Shift+right-click a file, pick a format on a wheel, and the result lands next to the original.

Bay 08

Clanker Labs

Self-host your home (notes, mail, media, passwords, money) on hardware you own, with an agent in front so it doesn't need a sysadmin.

Also in the hangar

  • BTViewA visual behavior-tree editor for BehaviorTree.CPP, inside VS Code and Cursor.
  • jarvis_ros2Fault and recovery management for ROS 2 robots.
  • awesome-daily-minigames281 daily puzzle games, in one list.
